We would love to extend our hospitality by introducing a few key attractions that demonstrate the rich, multi-cultural aspect of this small island.
Little India
It is an ethnic neighbourhood found in Singapore that has Tamil cultural elements and aspects of other cultures. Little India lies to east of the Singapore River — across from Chinatown, located west of the river — and north of Kampong Glam. Both areas are part of the urban planning area of Rochor. Little India is more commonly known as Tekka in the local Tamil community.
Chinatown Heritage Centre
Every nook and cranny in the Chinatown Heritage Centre pulsates with the memories of yesteryear, offering an experience like no other, as one is transported to Chinatown in the budding years of Singapore's establishment as a seaport. The Chinatown Heritage Centre is the only place in Singapore that has recreated the original interiors of its shophouse tenants in the 1950s.
Malay Heritage
Situated amidst the Istana Kampong Gelam, Gedung Kuning and the surrounding Kampong Gelam precinct, the Centre acts as a vital heritage institution for the Malay community in Singapore. Through its exhibits, programmes and activities, the Centre hopes to honour the past while providing a means for present-day expression.
Clarke Quay
Lying near the mouth of the Singapore River, the site of Clarke Quay was the centre of commerce during the late 19th century. Today, Clarke Quay is still buzzing with life and activity. The waterfront godowns now play host to a colourful kaleidoscope of restaurants, wine bars, entertainment spots and retail shops.
Esplanade
It is a waterside building located on six hectares of waterfront land alongside Marina Bay near the mouth of the Singapore River, purpose-built to be the centre for performing arts for the island nation of Singapore. Taking its name from the nearby Esplanade, it contains a Concert Hall which seats about 1,600 and a Theatre with a capacity of about 2,000 for the performing arts.
Gardens by the Bay
It is a park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) of reclaimed land in central Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. Gardens by the Bay is an integral part of a strategy by the Singapore government to transform Singapore from a "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden".
Marina Bay Sands
With the casino complete, the resort features a 2,561-room hotel, a 1,300,000 square-foot convention-exhibition centre, the 800,000-square-foot. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands mall, a museum, two large theatres, seven "celebrity chef" restaurants, two floating Crystal Pavilions, an ice skating rink, and the world's largest atrium casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines.
Holland Village
Holland Village is a favourite haunt for the expatriate community in Singapore, owing to the laidback charm it exudes. It is the perfect place if you want to spend the entire day relaxing, catching up with friends or simply listening to music. You’ll find a mix of live music joints, ritzy restaurants, casual wine bars, and traditional coffee houses where you can sip a cup of teh tarik (“pulled tea”) and watch the world go by.
Sentosa Island
Just 15 minutes away from the city centre is Sentosa, an idyllic resort island with pristine beaches, world-class attractions, sea sports, golf and retreats. Our biggest attraction, Imbiah Lookout offers something for everyone; thrill seekers can take a ride on Skyline Luge Sentosa, nature lovers can explore the walking trails and wonders of Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom.
